Warren Samuel Mitchell is a multifaceted creative professional, excelling as an independent director, producer, screenwriter, and actor. His journey in the world of filmmaking began after graduating from Christian Life Academy in 2008, where he discovered his passion for storytelling through films.
Mitchell's academic pursuits led him to Louisiana State University (LSU),where he earned two Bachelor's degrees, the first in 2014 in the Liberal Arts department with a concentration in Film & Media Arts, and the second in 2016 in the Theatre department with a focus on Film/TV.
In 2011, Mitchell founded his own film production company, Warren World Productions, and started releasing short films. His directorial debut was the 2011 short film "The Stalker," created for a CMST course. To date, he has produced and released 21 short films and a web series, with some of his works available on popular platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, Amazon Prime Video, and the Louisiana Film Channel.
Mitchell's short films have been showcased at various film festivals and competitions, including the 48 Hour Film Project in New Orleans, the Single-Take Challenge, and the Four Points Film Project. In 2023, he rebranded his film production company as Warren World Films, marking a new chapter in his career as he embarks on his first feature-length film, "Aspire."
