Biography

Wale Ojo was born on September 9th in London, England, where he began his acting career in 1986, playing a young Othello in the east end of the city. He quickly gained recognition and went on to appear in numerous theaters across the United Kingdom.

As a child star, Wale worked primarily on drama series and television soaps with Africa's first television station, WNTV IBADAN. His breakout role came in 2012-2014 with the comedy series "Meet the Adebamjos," which earned him a nomination for Best Comedy Actor at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards in 2018. He also gained popularity in Nigeria with his film debut in "Phone Swap," for which he won the award for Best Actor at the Nigeria Lite Entertainment Awards.

Throughout his career, Wale has accumulated an impressive list of film and television credits. Some of his notable roles include:

* A gambler in Guy Ritchie's first short film "The Hard Case" (1995)

* A bad ass gangster, Jonathan Bankole, in the film "Rage" (1999)

* A revolutionary activist in "The Philanthropist" (2009) alongside James Purefoy

* Doctor Oyelowo in "The Guard" (2011) with Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle
