Vladimir Turchinskiy is a renowned Soviet and Russian athlete, record holder in strength sports, and multifaceted media personality, boasting a diverse range of talents that extend beyond his athletic prowess to include television and radio presenting, acting, and more.

As a young boy, Turchinskiy's passion for sports was evident from a tender age of five, when he was enrolled in a sports school, following in the footsteps of his family members who were all avid sports enthusiasts. He began to take sports seriously, eventually emerging as a silver medalist at the Moscow Greco-Roman wrestling championship, a feat that showcased his remarkable athletic abilities.

As he grew older, Turchinskiy's dedication to sports only intensified, and he joined the Moscow sambo team in the eighth grade, further honing his skills and achieving a remarkable milestone at the tender age of 16, when he fulfilled the standard for master of sports.
