Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Vivienne holds a Master of Creative Arts in classical/opera singing from the University of Newcastle, Australia, where she studied with renowned vocal coaches, including Australian conductor Richard Gill.
Vivienne's diverse background in the performing arts includes studying acting at NIDA in Sydney, the Howard Fine Acting Studio in L.A., and Ted Brunetti Studio in L.A. She has also studied Improv with Bill Applebaum of the Actors Improv Studio in L.A. and Alexander Technique/Animal Studies with Jean-Louis Rodrigue in Los Angeles.
As a classical artist, Vivienne has performed as an opera singer with Opera Australia and Pacific Opera, as well as a concert artist with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Beethoven Societies of Australia & Japan, and Symphony of Australia. She has also performed in cabaret, musical theatre, and as an actress in TV and film.
Vivienne's notable roles include Bertie's Mom in Seasons 1 and 3 of Judd Apatow's Love on Netflix, Lilian Fleet in season 8 of Shameless on Showtime, and Old Rhonda in The Last Anniversary on Binge/AMC, starring Miranda Richardson and Teresa Palmer and produced by Nicole Kidman's Blossom Films.
In 2016, Vivienne played Susan in Ruben Guthrie for the Australian Theatre Company in Los Angeles, earning a Broadway World nomination. Her other theatre credits include Bridget in Bridget and Iain, Hope in Almost, Maine, and Linda in the world premiere of You Are the Blood.
Internationally, Vivienne was the lead in the award-winning short film Song From A Blackbird, which screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014, and Bridget and Iain, a mother struggling with her son's addiction. She was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 2020 New York/Long Island Film Festival for her performance as Madame B in Le Miroir.
The culmination of Vivienne's lifetime of work in the performing arts is her solo theatre play, DIVA, which premiered to much acclaim in Los Angeles in November 2024.
