Biography

Vivian Austin, a ravishing brown-haired and brown-eyed beauty queen, had the distinction of being voted "Miss Hollywood" in 1943, a title that served as a springboard to a lucrative contract with Universal Pictures.

Prior to embarking on her film career, the studio provided Austin with valuable experience by assigning her to various little theater groups around Los Angeles, where she honed her craft and developed her acting skills.

It wasn't long before Austin made her silver screen debut in the 1943 film "Moonlight in Vermont", a movie that marked the beginning of a fruitful collaboration with Universal Pictures.

Throughout her tenure with the studio, Austin appeared in a diverse range of films, including westerns, musicals, and dramas, showcasing her versatility as an actress.

However, due to health problems, Austin was eventually forced to retire from the screen, bringing an end to her illustrious acting career.
