Biography

The illustrious Ms. Lindfors, a Swedish-born actress of remarkable talent and dedication, whose impressive stage and screen career traversed the vast expanse of more than half a century, with a trajectory that spanned the United States and Sweden. It was in the year 1946 that Warner Brothers brought her to the fabled city of Hollywood, with the ambitious hope that she would emulate the legendary Greta Garbo or the incomparable Ingrid Bergman.

Ms. Lindfors' Hollywood debut was a notable one, as she appeared alongside the charismatic Ronald Reagan in the 1949 film "Night Unto Night", directed by the acclaimed Don Siegel. While she may be most famously recognized for her work on the stage, Ms. Lindfors returned to her native Sweden in August 1995 to embark on a tour with the esteemed play "In Search of Strindberg".
