Vira Sathidar

Born in year the 1960, in the vibrant city of Nagpur, which served as the capital of Central Province and Berar, a region steeped in rich cultural heritage. His early life was marked by a humble beginning as a cowherd, where he developed a strong connection with nature and the rustic way of life. As he grew older, his interests began to shift towards the world of Folk art and Music, which would eventually become the defining thread of his artistic expression. Over time, he honed his skills in various forms art of and literature, excluding painting and sculpture, and emerged as a multifaceted creative force. Today, he is widely recognized as a poet, writer, singer, and lyricist, whose work has resonated with audiences far and wide. In addition to his artistic pursuits, he also serves as the Editor of the esteemed Marathi magazine 'Vidrohi', a platform that showcases the best of Marathi literature and culture. Furthermore, he is an ardent Democratic Rights activist, using his voice to advocate for social justice and human rights, leaving an indelible mark on the world around him.
