Biography

Vincent Leclerc, a talented actor born and raised in Quebec, Canada, embarked on a journey in the world of theatre, studying in Ottawa and later in Paris. For the past two decades, he has made a lasting impact in Canada, effortlessly navigating the stage, television, and film industries with his bilingualism.

Throughout his career, Vincent has demonstrated his versatility by taking on recurring roles, guest stars, and leading characters in numerous French-Canadian television series, including Ruptures, Alerte Amber, Léo, Le Clan, Edgar, Pour toujours plus un jour, and TV features such as Affinity, for which he received a nomination at the 2008 Monte-Carlo television festival. His work has also been recognized in English television, with notable appearances in Syfy's Being Human and Canadian dramas 19-2, This Life, Bad Blood, and Bellevue.

For the past six years, Vincent has been synonymous with the complex and intriguing character Séraphin Poudrier in Radio-Canada's epic period series Les Pays d'en Haut. His outstanding performance, as well as the show itself, has garnered widespread critical acclaim and numerous awards and nominations, including a Gémeaux in 2016 for Best performance by a leading man. This success has opened doors to more television leads, including roles in Plan B and Crave's first French drama Sortez-moi de moi.

In addition to his television work, Vincent has appeared in various feature films, such as Piché: The landing of a man, The storm within, Warm Bodies, White house down, the Oscar-winning The Revenant, The fall of the American empire, and Les Salopes or The Naturally Wanton Pleasure of Skin. His upcoming project sees him riding alongside Mads Mikkelsen in Doug Liman's Chaos Walking.
