Victoria Beckham, born Victoria Caroline Adams on April 17, 1974, in Harlow, Essex, England, is the daughter of Jacqueline Doreen (Cannon),an insurance clerk and hairdresser, and Anthony William Adams, an electronics engineer.
Victoria, who prefers to be called Posh, a term that stands for the best of everything, has a unique upbringing. Growing up, she was often driven to school in her father's Rolls Royce, which was a symbol of their wealth. However, Victoria has stated that she didn't enjoy this aspect of her childhood.
Before finding fame as a member of the Spice Girls, Victoria began her career as a dancer. She also briefly performed in another band while attending college. After completing her 3-year course at Laine Arts, she answered an ad in "The Stage" magazine, which was looking for 5 girls who could sing and dance. Victoria was selected, and this marked the beginning of her journey with the Spice Girls.
Victoria met her future bandmates, including Emma, Geri, Mel C, and Mel B, through various auditions and connections. The Spice Girls went on to achieve international fame, performing at sold-out concerts, embarking on tours, and even starring in the movie Spice World (1997).
In her personal life, Victoria married soccer player David Beckham and has four children with him.
