Biography

Ved Sapru is a British-trained actor of Indian nationality, boasting a remarkable career trajectory. During his esteemed training at the renowned East15 Acting school, he made his West End theatre debut in Robert Hastie's production of Henry V at the prestigious Regents Park Theatre. This milestone was swiftly followed by his participation in the Russian theatre season at the Arcola Theatre, London, where he brought Maxim Gorky's The Lower Depths to life under the direction of the award-winning Helena Kaut-Howson. Notably, this achievement was accomplished while Ved was still completing his training at drama school.

Ved's feature film debut arrived with his breakthrough role as Rahul Singh in India Sweets And Spices, a production of Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and Madison Wells Media. Directed by Geeta Malik, the winner of the 2016 Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting award and the 2018 Academy Gold Fellowship for Women, the film stars Sophia Taylor Ali, Manisha Koirala, and Adil Hussain alongside Ved.
