Biography

Vanessa Evigan, a talented actress, began her journey in the entertainment industry at a young age. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, she was only eight years old when she made her first appearance on the TV show "My Two Dads", starring her father, Greg Evigan.

As a child, Vanessa knew she wanted to become an actress, but her parents, Pamela Serpe Evigan and Greg Evigan, had reservations about her entering the business too young. Her mother, a dancer on Broadway, and her father, an actor, were cautious about the industry's impact on their daughter's life.

Vanessa is the eldest of three siblings, including her brother, Jason Evigan, a singer-songwriter, and her sister, Briana Evigan, an actress known for her role in "Step Up 2 The Streets".

At the age of twelve, Vanessa landed her first job, guest-starring on the TV show "Jacks Place", earning a nomination for Best Actress in a Guest Star Role at the Young Artist Awards. She then went on to play "Jenny Clemens" on the critically acclaimed NBC series "Against The Grain", alongside Ben Affleck.

As she grew older, Vanessa took on more roles, including "Sara Valentine" on UPN's "Social Studies" and "Brittany Hodges" on "The Young and The Restless". She has also appeared in numerous other TV shows, such as "Boy Meets World", "The Tom Show", "Norm", "Less Than Perfect", "Emily's Reasons Why Not", "In Plain Sight", and "How I Met Your Mother".

In addition to her television work, Vanessa has starred in several independent movies and made-for-TV movies, as well as costarring in ABC's "25 Days Of Christmas" family movie "Holiday In Handcuffs". Her latest project, "Zombie Hamlet", was released in 2014 and features a talented cast, including Jason Mewes, June Lockhart, Shelley Long, and John Amos.

Vanessa is currently developing a TV show with her father and sister, which she co-wrote, produced, and stars in. Her production company, Evigan Entertainment, has several other projects in the works.

When she's not acting, Vanessa has a passion for fashion and jewelry, which she started making as a hobby. Her jewelry line, "Vanessalee Jewelry", is available in stores and online. She is also the founder of the "LuvtheinnerU" movement, aimed at helping people understand that love starts within and that self-love can change one's life.

Vanessa is also dedicated to finding a cure for muscular dystrophy, a cause close to her heart after losing a friend to the disease in high school. She has been involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association for several years and started a benefit, "Night of Spirits", to raise awareness and funds for the cause.
