Noted Japanese thespian Unshô Ishizuka was ushered into this world on May 16, 1951, in the quaint town of Katsuyama, Japan. His illustrious acting career spanned numerous decades, with standout roles in the critically acclaimed animated series Wolf's Rain, released in 2003, as well as the cinematic adaptation of the popular anime series Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, which premiered in 2001. Additionally, his impressive repertoire included the 2000 film Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. Tragically, Ishizuka's life was cut short on August 13, 2018.
