Umang Jain, a renowned model and television actress, was born in Mumbai, Karnataka. During her college days, she was an avid tennis player. With a career spanning over two decades, she has acted in nearly 500 television commercials, promoting prominent brands such as Ponds Facewash, MTS, Sony Handycam, Hair N Care, Max New York Life, SBI, and Tata Docomo, to name a few.
Umang Jain hails from Mumbai, where she completed her schooling and college. She began her acting career at a tender age with the television show Justujoo on Zee TV in 2002. This was followed by another show, Ssshhhh... Phir Koi Hai, a suspense thriller on Star One in 2006. Since then, there has been no looking back for Umang Jain, as she continued to appear in numerous television shows and movies.
Some of her notable television shows include Sunaina in 2008, Teri Meri Love Stories in 2012, Maharakshak Devi in 2015, Ek Tha Chandar Ek Thi Sudha in 2015, and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in 2009. In addition to television, Umang Jain has also appeared in a few films, including Love Breakups Zindagi in 2011 as a child actor, and Shakal Pe Mat Ja in 2011 and Aaru Sundarimaarude Katha in 2013 as a teenager.
Currently, Umang Jain is starring in a romantic comedy television show called Khatmal E Ishq, produced by Garima Productions, which is set to air on SAB TV. She will be seen alongside Vishal Malhotra in the show's first episode.
