Born in Cuba in 1963, my family embarked on a journey that would take us to Spain in 1974 and ultimately to the United States in 1977, where we settled in Houston, Texas, and have since considered it our home.
It was 27 years ago that God introduced me to my wife, Maria, and blessed us with three sons who are now in college, and a daughter through adoption.
My interest in acting began to take shape during my college years at the University of Houston, where I discovered a passion for performing on stage. The next few years brought numerous roles my way, and I realized then how much I enjoyed being in the spotlight.
Prior to pursuing my passion for acting, I made a living in the restaurant industry, taking on various roles from dishwasher in high school to Director of Operations for a national steakhouse. In 2006, my wife and I opened our own concept, but I never lost sight of my desire to perform.
My recent project, a film called We Are Stronger, has brought me to this point in my life, where I believe I am called to use my gifts to honor and glorify God.
With a heart for mission work, I have had the opportunity to travel abroad a few times to serve, but I believe that using my performances on stage or screen to impact people's lives, both near and far, with God's message of grace and hope, is a more powerful way to make a difference.
In summary, I believe that God is not yet finished with me, and I am excited to see what the future holds.
