Tye Olson, a talented American actor and model, was born and raised in Northern Minnesota to Allen and Rebecca Olson, where he was one of two children, and the only member of his family to pursue a career in acting. He was heavily involved in the arts from a young age, strongly encouraged by his mother, who played a significant role in nurturing his passion for the arts.
Tye received his education at Bemidji High School before moving on to American Intercontinental University, Los Angeles, where he studied Fashion Design and Marketing. His academic pursuits were just the beginning of his journey, as he was soon to make his mark in the world of entertainment.
At the tender age of eighteen, Tye landed the lead role in the feature film, Watercolors, which earned him critical acclaim and numerous awards, including three Best Actor awards at film festivals across the country. This breakthrough role was followed by further film successes, including a supporting role in Tru Loved and a featured role in the film Brother's War.
Tye's transition to television was seamless, as he guest-starred on the award-winning HBO TV series United States of Tara. Since then, he has worked on numerous short films and music videos alongside renowned artists such as Fall Out Boy, Paramore, and Katy Perry.
In his mid-twenties, Tye discovered a new passion for the art of drag, which he explored after relocating to San Francisco. He divided his time between Northern California and Los Angeles, using his platform to curate, produce, and perform at numerous large-scale events throughout the state. Tye's dedication to the LGBTQIA+ community led him to found Boozy Drag Queen Bingo, a five-star Airbnb online drag queen experience that has been booked worldwide.
Today, Tye identifies as gender fluid and books film, television, and commercial roles accordingly. His journey is a testament to his resilience, creativity, and commitment to self-expression, making him a true trailblazer in the entertainment industry.
