Ty Parker's innate ability to captivate audiences was evident from a tender age, as their older sister's battle with brain cancer sparked a desire to bring joy to those around them. Even as a toddler, Ty Parker would organize skits for children at the hospital, effortlessly weaving laughter and smiles into the lives of young patients.
As their sister's health improved and entered remission, Ty Parker's passion for entertainment only intensified, ultimately propelling them towards a career in acting. With a natural flair for performing, they effortlessly transitioned from school plays, church plays, and community theater to the stage, and by the age of six, they were already making their mark.
The New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) recognized Ty Parker's remarkable talent, welcoming them into their esteemed musical theater program at the tender age of eleven. This marked the beginning of a fruitful journey, as they soon found themselves delving into the feature film industry in Louisiana and, at the age of twelve, securing a film contract with Disney.com in Los Angeles, CA.
Ty Parker's impressive résumé boasts a membership in the prestigious Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and a diverse range of projects, including recurring comedy skits on Jimmy Kimmel Live and prime time comedy shows such as Bambi Cottages and Fresh off the Boat. They have had the privilege of working alongside industry legends like Harrison Ford in Ender's Game, Tim Roth in Life at These Speeds, and Renee Zellweger in Same Kind of Different as Me.
Most recently, Ty Parker made a splash in the television world, starring as CJ Madison in the season four premiere of Fox's hit show 9-1-1.
