Troy Musil, an accomplished American actor, site medic, stuntman, and fight choreographer, has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry through his diverse range of roles and talents. His most notable performances include Nathan Parsons in the web series The Subverted Method, Agent Paxton in the feature film drama Caught Between, and Charlie in the action film Jack Carter: Unfinished Business.
Prior to his work in the industry, Musil had a varied career, working as a lifeguard, animal specialist, construction worker, carpenter, guided hike leader, rock wall instructor, archery instructor, snowmobile instructor, bartender, server, and cook. His athletic background is equally impressive, having competed in mixed martial arts (MMA) for four years with a record of 3-1 in the EFC (Extreme Fight Club). Additionally, he has over 10 years of martial arts training, specializing in boxing, kickboxing, and jiu-jitsu.
Musil's passion for sports extends beyond martial arts, as he played rugby for the Erie Ruggers for two years and is trained in pistol, shotgun, and rifle firearms. In terms of education, Musil attended technical school for carpentry and emergency medical technician (EMT) school, earning his EMT diploma in 2013.
Since relocating to Los Angeles, Musil has honed his acting skills through various training programs, including the UCB's improv training programs and Clay Banks Studio International's full acting developmental classes. When asked about his creative process, Musil expressed his enthusiasm for "the whole creative process, all sides of the camera. I love to create."
