Troy Fromin, a native of the San Fernando Valley, was nurtured by a passion for Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror films and television shows, which instilled in him a profound desire to one day meet a grisly demise on the big or small screen. Following his graduation from Granada Hills High School, Troy embarked on a journey to make his dream a reality, commencing with student films and extra work before eventually securing a foothold in the low-budget B-movie industry.
As Troy's aspirations took shape, he found himself being killed off numerous times, a testament to his unwavering dedication to his craft. Subsequent to acquiring a manager and agent, Troy landed a Taft-Hartley contract, which paved the way for his breakout role on the TV sitcom "Doctor Doctor." This marked the beginning of a prolific career, during which Troy appeared in a wide range of films, television shows, and commercials, solidifying his status as a recognizable figure in the entertainment industry.
Troy's most iconic role, however, was that of the lovably dim-witted football jock "Ox" on the phenomenally popular TV show "Saved By The Bell." After a 14-year hiatus from acting, Troy has recently made a triumphant return to the spotlight, rekindling his passion for the craft and reestablishing himself as a talented and versatile performer.
