Biography

Trey Parker was born and raised in Auburn, Alabama, where he started his entertainment career at the tender age of seven as the University of Auburn's Mascot "Little Aubie", hyping the crowd at football games.

As a natural-born actor, Trey exhausted the cities' creative avenues, starring in musical theater as the leads in "Winnie the Pooh", "Grease", "Scrooge", and "Music Man", as well as local television spots and commercials.

Trey's idols were Michael Jackson and Soul Train, and he effortlessly incorporated fluid movements of rhythm into his style, which was immediately recognized and appreciated, earning him a spot at the School of Performing Arts in New York and a full scholarship to the Broadway Dance Center.

He began landing national TV commercials, including McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Teddy Ruxpin, Roy Rogers, and Toro, as well as campaigns for Nordstrom's and Macy's. Off-Broadway plays included "Peter Pan" (lead) and "A House in the Woods", and he was chosen to appear on TV specials with Emmanuel Lewis and Debbie Allen.

At the age of fifteen, Trey headed out west to Los Angeles, California, where he became teen sensation Tiffany's lead dancer on the New Kids on the Block tour, and appeared in made-for-TV movies such as "Caddie Woodlawn", "Please God I'm only Seventeen", and "Straight at Ya" hosted by Kirk Cameron.

He landed several episodes on prime-time television shows, including "Baywatch", "Doogie Howser MD", "Thirty Something", and "The Judge", which led to a lead role on the NBC prime-time series "Hull High". Disney then signed him to a three-picture deal, beginning with a lead role in their musical drama "Newsies".

Trey also formed the successful group E.Y.C (Express Yourself Clearly),which was signed to a global record deal with MCA records, breaking them out in Europe. E.Y.C. opened for many renowned artists, including Prince, Whitney Houston, and The Backstreet Boys, and eventually went their separate ways.

After a break, Trey resumed his acting career, booking national commercials and shooting the pilot for ABC's "The Kirk Franklin Show". He also appeared in the Universal film "American Dreamz", starring Hugh Grant and Mandy Moore, and wrote songs for various artists, including the hit single "Why'd you Lie to Me" on Anastacia's new album.

Recently, Trey wrote and produced his new single "Hold My Heart", which will be performed at Andrew Firestone's upcoming wedding on July 5th, 2008.
