Biography

Trevor Todd is a prolific writer with an impressive array of credits to his name. His feature film, "Devil's Gate", a thriller co-written with and directed by Stuart St. Paul, was filmed in the Shetland Isles in January 2002 and stars Laura Fraser. Produced by Alchemist Films, London, this feature has reached a global audience.

Todd's work has also been showcased in television, with "GLAD RAGS", a 13-part children's series he conceived and wrote, broadcast on the BBC, Nickelodeon UK, and the Nine Network in Australia. He won the Australian Writers' Guild AWGIE for Best Children's Television Drama in 1994 for "OLD SAM, JASPER, AND MR. FRANK", which was also published by Penguin Books in 1999.

Todd's literary output includes several books, including "INGRID RULES THE WAVES", which was shortlisted for the 2001 WAYBRA awards, and "REVENGE OF THE THREE BLIND MICE", which was shortlisted for the YABBA awards. His other published works include "BONE IDOL" and two readers for the Thomas Nelson series. Upcoming is the release of "STREET SISTER MAGIC" in 2002.

When not writing, Trevor Todd is a member of the Australian Writers' Guild and the Fellowship of Australian Writers. He resides in Claremont, Western Australia, and enjoys playing his guitar and singing old Beatles songs in his free time.
