Trevor Hawkins is a multi-talented individual whose eclectic passions for cinema, wildlife, and adventure have garnered him a plethora of accolades, including an EMMY award, three Vimeo Staff-Picks, the esteemed title "Exceptional Filmmaker" from National Geographic, and widespread recognition across the film, television, and commercial industries.
As a true Renaissance man, Hawkins wore multiple hats on his debut feature film, Lotawana, serving as writer, director, cinematographer, editor, and colorist. He is currently in-development of his next cinematic endeavors.
Twenty years after the devastating Rwandan genocide, Hawkins was commissioned by the President of Rwanda to create a film that would rebrand the country's image to the global community. Although not a hunter himself, Hawkins has made a significant impact on the creative and storytelling standards of the hunting industry with his hit show, Heartland Bowhunter.
In 2010, Hawkins founded the production company MAMMOTH, which has since become a hub for his diverse creative endeavors. His commercial work is represented by RW2, while his licensing is handled by FilmSupply. Beyond feature films and commercials, Hawkins has created documentaries, tourism and wildlife videos, TV shows, and photography, showcasing his versatility as an artist.
When not working on his various projects, Hawkins can be found residing in his hometown of Lake Lotawana, Missouri, where he enjoys sailing, skateboarding, wakeboarding, rehabilitating wildlife with his family, working on his cabin, and engaging in the local lake rat culture.
