Tracy Willet was born on August 22nd in Downers Grove, Illinois, and her passion for performance was ignited by a production of 42nd Street at a local theatre. For most of her childhood and teenage years, Willet was a competitive baton twirler, showcasing her skills and earning a remarkable 9th place ranking in the nation in 1997.
In addition to her baton twirling prowess, Willet also competed in figure skating for an impressive 14 years, playing a significant role in the creation of the first Synchronized Skating Team, then known as "Illini Edge," at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
After graduating with Bronze Tablet honors from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising, Willet relocated to New York to pursue a career in performance art. She then attended the esteemed Circle in the Square Theater School, where she honed her skills in Musical Theatre and Acting.
Recently, Willet took on the role of Joanne in "Everything's Whispered," a production that was part of the 2013 Women Center Stage Festival at The Culture Project. Furthermore, Willet served as a mentor for WET Productions' "Risk Takers" series, working with teenage girls to promote self-esteem and media literacy.
In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, Willet is also a dedicated advocate and lobbyist for the National Eating Disorders Association, using her platform to raise awareness and support for those affected by eating disorders.
