Tommy Oliver is a multifaceted American creative force, boasting an impressive array of talents that span the realm of filmmaking, entrepreneurship, and leadership. As the CEO and Founder of Confluential Films, he has established himself as a visionary producer, director, writer, cinematographer, photographer, financier, and entrepreneur.
Throughout his illustrious career, Tommy has helmed numerous critically acclaimed projects, including the AFI Film Festival audience award-winning documentary Juice Wrld: Into The Abyss, as well as the feature films 40 Years a Prisoner and 1982. His impressive body of work also includes the direction, production, photography, and editing of four Sundance Film Festival 2023 films, including Young. Wild. Free., Fancy Dance, To Live and Die and Live (EP),and the Grand Jury Prize-winning Going to Mars: The Nikki Giovanni Project.
In addition to his work behind the camera, Tommy has also produced a wide range of successful films, including The Perfect Find, The Perfect Guy, and the Sundance Film Festival and AFI Film Festival audience award-winning Kinyarwanda. Furthermore, he co-created and Executive Produced the acclaimed documentary series Black Love.
