Jack Dorsey, a renowned musician and bandleader, was born on November 19, 1905, in the picturesque town of Mahanoy Plane, Pennsylvania, United States of America.

His illustrious career in music saw his compositions featured in a plethora of films, including the critically acclaimed Annie Hall (1977),the classic comedy Ship Ahoy (1942),and the thought-provoking drama The Human Stain (2003).

In addition to his work as a musician, Dorsey occasionally made appearances as himself, often accompanied by his band, in a wide range of films.

Throughout his life, Dorsey was married three times, first to Jane Karl New, followed by Patricia Dane, and then Mildred Ann Kraft.
