Born in the vibrant city of Chicago, Tom Lodewyck's passion for acting led him to pursue a degree in broadcast communications, initially planning a career in radio. However, his true calling remained in the world of acting. After earning his degree, Lodewyck interned at the renowned Gaslight Theatre Company in Tucson, Arizona, further honing his craft.
With a solid foundation in acting, Lodewyck went on to hone his skills in regional theater, eventually landing his first screen test. This marked the beginning of his successful film career, which has spanned over two decades.
