Tom Hillmann, a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award winner, has made a mark in the television industry with his recurring role as Grey Damon's father on the CW's "Star-Crossed".
Born and raised in New York, Tom spent his childhood along the Atlantic coast before venturing west to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams. During his early days in the industry, he took on various odd jobs to make ends meet, including painting address numbers on street curbs, playing a Power Ranger at children's parties, and even working as a drug test specimen taker.
Tom's passion for acting led him to study with Peabody Award-winning director Don Richardson at UCLA, where he honed his skills for a semester before being invited to Richardson's private class, where he continued to study for several years.
One of his most notable roles was as a recurring guest star opposite David Caruso in "CSI: Miami", which originated in the pilot cross-over episode of the original "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" directed by Danny Cannon.
In addition to his television work, Tom has also appeared in several TV shows, including "Army Wives", "Burn Notice", "One Tree Hill", "K-Ville", and "Recount".
On stage, Tom has performed in numerous Equity theatre productions, including lead roles in "She Loves Me", "Guys & Dolls", "The 1940's Radio Hour", "Fiddler on the Roof", "Into the Woods", "See How They Run", "A Christmas Carol", and "The Traveling Lady".
Tom is a devoted husband and father of three, and in his free time, he enjoys traveling, exploring the arts, and prioritizing a healthy lifestyle.
