Next person biography:
Born in Newport, Rhode Island, of Irish heritage, he was destined for a life of entertainment. As a high school freshman, he took his first steps into the world of acting, performing in a school play that sparked a lifelong passion. The thrill of being on stage, the applause of the audience, and the sense of accomplishment after the final curtain call left an indelible mark on his soul.
After graduating, he put his acting dreams on hold to serve his country, joining the Army and advancing quickly through the ranks. He was trained in various skills, including being a combat pilot, and served with distinction in three tours in Afghanistan and one in Iraq, earning decorations for his bravery.
However, the harsh realities of war took a toll on his mental and emotional well-being. He found solace in his early love of comedy and entertaining people, using his quick wit and improvisational skills to bring joy to his fellow soldiers. This coping mechanism helped him deal with the day-to-day struggles of war.
After leaving the Army, he had the time and space to reflect on his next chapter. Stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, he decided to pursue his passion for acting and theater. He joined a local comedy troupe, "Horrible Folks Comedy Show," where he honed his writing and performing skills. He also acted in local theater productions, taking on a range of dramatic roles.
As he delved deeper into the world of acting, he realized that it was the performing itself that brought him the most joy. He thrived in ensemble productions, working alongside like-minded performers, and connecting with his audiences. This epiphany solidified his decision to pursue a career in the performing arts.
Today, he continues to act, exploring different genres of TV and film. He is also writing and producing a fantasy-adventure with a strong dose of horror. A dedicated member of his community, he is passionate about animals, volunteers his time, and looks forward to playing Santa Claus each year for the children of soldiers stationed at Fort Bragg during the tree lighting ceremony.
