Croatian-born professional wrestler, based in Canada, with a storied career spanning multiple decades and various promotions. His journey began in the 1980s with the American Wrestling Association, where he formed alliances with notable figures like Nick Kiniski and Shawn Michaels.
Early in his career, Diamond teamed up with Kiniski as American Force in Texas All-Star Wrestling, showcasing his skills in San Antonio, Texas. This partnership laid the groundwork for future collaborations, including his stint with Pat Tanaka as Badd Company in the AWA.
Under the guidance of Diamond Dallas Page, Badd Company dominated the AWA, with Tanaka and Diamond forming a formidable tag team. Their success led to a transition to the WWE, where they became the Orient Express, managed by the enigmatic Mr. Fuji. Kato, played by Diamond Dallas Page, replaced Akio Sato, and the duo continued to thrive in the WWE.
Diamond's career also saw him don the persona of Max Moon, a brief but memorable stint. Beyond WWE, he competed in various promotions, including New Japan Pro Wrestling, the USWA, ECW, WCW, the Mid-Eastern Wrestling Federation, the Continental Wrestling Association, and many others.
Throughout his illustrious career, Diamond accumulated numerous accolades, including multiple-time CWA International Tag Team Champion, AWA World Tag Team Champion, USWA World Tag Team Champion, IWA Southern Champion, CWF Heavyweight Champion, and 2x TWA Heavyweight Champion.
Following his retirement in 2001, Diamond went on to co-found Rocket City Wrestling in Huntsville, Alabama. He played a significant role in the booking process and continued to lace up his boots, competing as himself and as the iconic Max Moon.
Before his wrestling career, Diamond had a successful stint as a professional soccer player, representing the Calgary Boomers and the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the North American Soccer League.
