Todd was born on September 5th in Vancouver, Canada, where he spent his formative years watching an inordinate amount of television and movies with an unbridled passion. As one of three brothers, they were fortunate to have an older teenage movie buff as their next-door neighbor, who would occasionally babysit them, allowing them to stay up a bit later than usual and indulge in shows that were beyond their years.
In his grade 8 drama class, Todd discovered an outlet for his creative energy, writing and performing outrageous skits that would often leave his teacher no choice but to cut them short. The thrill of pushing boundaries and observing people's reactions became an intoxicating experience that was impossible to resist.
Todd's upbringing was marked by the influence of both his parents, a hardworking financial advisor father and a schoolteacher/musician mother. He was blessed to have received a well-rounded education, with lessons in multiple artistic disciplines, including music, dance, and team sports. However, Todd's true passion lay in skateboarding, a hobby that he begrudgingly set aside to please his mother, only to find success in local dance and singing competitions. Despite this, Todd's early exposure to the world of dance led him to briefly attend Canada's prestigious National Ballet School in Toronto at the tender age of 10, where a knee injury eventually became the excuse he needed to quit dancing.
Following in the footsteps of his early heroes Bruce Willis and Clint Eastwood, Todd set his sights on becoming a world-renowned actor. After returning from Toronto, he convinced his parents to allow him to attend acting classes, which ultimately led to him landing a principal role on The Knowledge Network's Kidzone and several other small parts. This marked the beginning of a series of events that would take him on a journey of international travel, a 7-year modeling and singing career in Tokyo, Japan, and a 20-year hiatus from acting.
Today, Todd is based in Vancouver, Canada, where he works as a red seal Journeyman Electrician to make ends meet. He continues to pursue his passions, studying acting, voice acting, music, and various other creative outlets. Todd is perhaps best known as the former lead singer of the Tokyo-based funk band SUPERFUNKTION and for his recent recurring role in Netflix's The Night Agent and several Hallmark Movies.
