Biography

Todd's film career began to take off in 2015 when he adapted Shakespeare's Macbeth for See-Saw Films, alongside his writing partner, and premiered the film at the Cannes Film Festival. The cinematic masterpiece, starring the talented Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard, was subsequently released by The Weinstein Company in December.

Todd's third directorial feature, Hello I Must Be Going, was showcased at the Sundance Film Festival as an opening night film and was also selected to compete at the prestigious festival. Oscilloscope Laboratories distributed the film, which was later named one of the Top Ten Independent films of 2012 by the National Board of Review. The film received critical acclaim, with screenwriter Sarah Koskoff being awarded the Best Screenplay prize at the Nantucket Film Festival.

Todd's impressive directing credits include the feature film Love, Liza, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and Kathy Bates, and distributed by Sony Classics. He also directed The Marc Pease Experience, a Paramount Vantage release, featuring Jason Schwartzman, Anna Kendrick, and Ben Stiller. Additionally, Todd's short film The Fifteen Minute Hamlet, starring Austin Pendleton, was showcased at Sundance and won the Best Short award at The New York Comedy Film Festival.

Todd's impressive accolades include being a recipient of the prestigious Annenberg Grant, as well as being a Sundance Fellow and Directing Advisor.
