Todd Charmont, an American actor, currently resides in Berlin, Germany, after spending his early years on a farm in the United States. As a child, he was relocated numerous times, attending a variety of schools and changing residences over a dozen times. This nomadic lifestyle continued into his teenage years, during which he pursued his passion for skydiving, making his first parachute jump at the age of 18.
Todd's skydiving career was marked by numerous achievements, including becoming a parachute rigger, working for the French National Skydiving team in the United States, France, and Brazil, where they won first place at the World Championships. He also became a test jumper for the world's largest sport parachute manufacturer and, before turning 21, earned his instructor certification and held the title of youngest Tandem Master at the time.
Todd's entry into the film industry began during the production of "Days of Thunder," where he worked as a free fall video-cameraman for Tom Cruise's skydiving training. Following this experience, he joined the crew for "Billy Bathgate" and later "The Last of the Mohicans," earning his first film credit as a crew member.
Throughout his career, Todd has accumulated over 8,000 jumps, worked on over 60 films, and spent more than 15 years living in Berlin. He has recently expanded his horizons, taking on acting roles. His first feature film, "Son of Saul," is set to premiere at the 68th Cannes Film Festival in 2015.
