Toby Leonard Moore was born in Sydney, Australia in 1981, marking the beginning of a life that would be filled with a passion for the performing arts. At the tender age of 11, he made the bold decision to relocate to Hobart, Tasmania, a move that would ultimately shape his artistic trajectory. Following his relocation, Moore's academic pursuits took him to the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) in Sydney, where he honed his craft alongside esteemed alumni such as Cate Blanchett, Sam Worthington, and Mel Gibson. Upon graduating in 2005, Moore's professional journey began in earnest, with appearances on stage in Sydney theatre productions, including Company B's "Peribanez", directed by Neil Armfield, as well as Sydney Theatre Company productions of "Dead Caesar", "Stag", and "Saturn's Return", directed by David Berthold. In addition to his stage work, Moore has made significant contributions to Australian television, with notable appearances in "Murder in the Outback". His international credits include a six-episode stint in Spielberg and Hanks' HBO epic mini-series "The Pacific", where he played the role of Sergeant Stone, released in March 2010. Furthermore, Moore has made guest appearances in "Dollhouse" as Walton in the episode "Gray Hour" in 2010, as well as in 2014's "John Wick" starring Keanu Reeves, "White Collar", and in 2015, he took on the role of James Wesley, Wilson Fisk's (Vincent D'Onofrio) right-hand man in Netflix's highly acclaimed "Daredevil". In 2016, Moore will be seen alongside Paul Giamatti in the highly anticipated "Billions".
