Tobias Waßmund, a cinephile since his formative years, was born in Wiesbaden, Germany in 1999, and spent most of his youth engaged in a wide range of artistic pursuits, showcasing a profound passion for the art of filmmaking from a very young age.
When not occupied with academic pursuits or socializing with friends, he dedicated himself to drawing fan art, constructing prop replicas from his beloved films, and penning his own screenplays, with a constant focus on the world of cinema, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to the craft.
As a natural progression, he enrolled in Film Studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz upon graduating from high school in 2018, further honing his skills and knowledge in the field of film.
After earning his bachelor's degree in 2022, his next significant aspiration was to bring his creative vision to life by directing his own films, marking the culmination of his academic and personal journey in the pursuit of his cinematic dreams.
