Born in 1979, British writer-director Tobias Tobbell embarked on his creative journey as a teenager, crafting plays and short films that showcased his burgeoning talent. As a prolific contributor to his university's drama society, he wrote and directed a dozen plays, with two of his works being performed at the esteemed Edinburgh Fringe Festival, a testament to his dedication and skill.
Tobias' debut feature film, 'Confine', boasts an impressive cast, featuring Alfie Allen and Daisy Lowe, and premiered at the Raindance festival, where it earned a nomination for Best Feature. Following its successful premiere, the film was released in the United States through Screen Media Films and in the United Kingdom through Koch Media, further solidifying Tobias' reputation as a talented filmmaker.
