Davison, a talented individual, was born in the year 1912 in the city of Chillán, Chile. He began his career in the entertainment industry in Hollywood, where he worked as a comedic actor in Spanish-language films for MGM. His early work in Hollywood consisted of starring in films such as "Así es la vida" and "La fuerza del querer", both released in 1930. However, MGM eventually suspended production, leading Davison to seek new opportunities.
He made his directorial debut in Argentina in 1937, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his career. Davison's subsequent work took him to Mexico and Spain, where he directed a wide range of films, including comedies and sentimental dramas.
Some of his notable directorial works include the comedy "El baño de Afrodita", released in 1949, as well as the sentimental dramas "May God Forgive Me" (1948),"Un cuerpo de mujer" (1949),"Negro es mi color" (1951),and "Cabo de Hornos" (1956).
