Biography

Timothy Wolfer has been a prolific documentary producer since 2008, focusing on themes of humanitarian aid, international development, and migration. His extensive travels have taken him to over 40 countries, allowing him to capture powerful stories in diverse settings.

In South Sudan, Wolfer has documented the devastating effects of conflict, while in Bangladesh, he has chronicled the plight of the Rohingya people fleeing persecution in Myanmar. His work has also taken him to Cuba, where he was on the ground to capture the country's historic opening up to United States humanitarian assistance.

One of his most notable projects is the feature film "Adopting Haiti", which he produced and filmed in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake. The documentary was released on Hulu and has since garnered widespread acclaim.

In addition to his feature film work, Wolfer has also produced numerous short documentaries for PBS stations, earning him a regional Emmy Award.
