Tim Holmes was born in the city of Lansing, Michigan, a place that would later serve as a significant backdrop to his life's journey. Growing up, he was deeply involved in his family's flower shop, an experience that likely instilled in him a sense of responsibility and work ethic.
However, at the tender age of 18, Tim made the bold decision to leave his hometown and move to the vibrant city of Los Angeles, driven by a passion for music and a desire to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. It was here that he was signed to MCA Records as a solo artist, performing under the name T.C. Holmes.
As his music career progressed, Tim leveraged his industry connections to transition into acting, landing roles in various TV pilot projects, B films, and afternoon soap operas. However, he eventually took a 10-year hiatus from the entertainment business, during which time he pursued a more unconventional path.
Tim's sabbatical was marked by a series of significant life events, including his decision to become a firefighter, start a successful business, and move back to his hometown of Michigan. It was during this time that he also got married and had twin boys, further solidifying his roots in the community.
As the film industry in Michigan began to flourish, Tim saw an opportunity to revive his acting career, and he has since dedicated himself to honing his craft and developing his skills as an actor and filmmaker. His impressive resume now boasts a wide range of roles in films such as Real Steel, Machine Gun Preacher, Hostel 3, S.W.A.T.: Firefight, and Street Kings 2: Motor City.
In 2011, Tim's talents were showcased in a number of high-profile projects, cementing his status as a versatile and accomplished actor. His future prospects look equally promising, with a role in the highly anticipated film Oz: The Great and Powerful, in which he will play the part of The Strongman, set to be released in 2013.
