Tim Bagley was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and spent his formative years in Madison and Trempealeau, Wisconsin, as well as Niles, Michigan, surrounded by his loving parents, Carol and Elwyn, and his four siblings, Anne, Patrick, Kit, and Dan. Following his high school education, Tim relocated to southern California to pursue his passion for music by performing with the renowned singing group "The Young Americans" while concurrently studying Art with a minor in Psychology at California State University Fullerton.
After completing his college degree, Tim embarked on a series of unconventional and eclectic occupations, including serving as a butler at the Playboy Mansion, dancing for Mitzi Gaynor, working as a page at Paramount Studios, and reading for a court-reporting college. He began honing his acting skills by taking classes with esteemed instructors Gordon Hunt, Nina Foch, Howard Fine, and The Groundlings, for whom he wrote and performed from 1989 to 1995.
Fern Champion and Mark Paladini entrusted Tim with his first feature film role as Irv, the mechanic, in The Mask (1994). His first series regular role was on Howie Mandel's Sunny Skies (1995) for Showtime. Over the years, Tim has established himself as one of the most respected and sought-after character actors in films, television, and theatre.
