Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Tia Lessin is a highly accomplished director and producer, having collaborated with notable filmmakers such as Carl Deal on projects like Citizen Koch and Trouble the Water, which won the 2008 Gotham Independent Film Award and the Sundance Film Festival's Grand Jury Prize.
Tia's extensive experience in film production includes co-producing Michael Moore's critically acclaimed documentaries Fahrenheit 9/11, Bowling for Columbine, and Capitalism: A Love Story, all of which received numerous awards and accolades.
In television, Tia has worked as a line producer on Martin Scorsese's Emmy and Grammy-winning film No Direction Home: Bob Dylan, and has also directed and produced Behind the Labels, earning her the Sidney Hillman Award for Broadcast Journalism.
