Biography

Terry Stone has had a multifaceted career, serving as the first assistant director on a diverse range of television series, including the popular shows The Surrealtor, Diggstown, Hudson & Rex, Frontier, and Republic of Doyle, as well as numerous independent feature films, such as The Righteous and Black Conflux, among others.

In addition to his work behind the camera, Terry has also ventured into directing, with his first film being the documentary Virtuoso, which premiered at the prestigious Hot Docs and Doxa film festivals in 2008.

Furthermore, Terry has also showcased his storytelling abilities in the short film Buzkashi Boys, a 30-minute film that he shot in Afghanistan in 2011. This poignant and powerful film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film in 2013, a testament to Terry's skill and dedication as a filmmaker.
