Terence Maynard's life journey began in Liverpool, where he spent his early years before relocating to Nantwich, Cheshire, where he would later develop a profound passion for the performing arts. At the tender age of eight, he exhibited a natural aptitude for dancing, prompting his family to encourage him to pursue this gift by attending dance classes three times a week. As he honed his skills, his interest in performance as a whole began to blossom, ultimately leading him to enroll in the prestigious Guildford School of Acting in Guildford, where he discovered his true calling was in the realm of acting. Upon graduating in June 1991, Maynard embarked on a career as a jobbing actor, with his first major breakthrough arriving in 1998 with a role in the comedy-drama series "Roger, Roger", set against the backdrop of a bustling taxi office. This initial success paved the way for him to land a leading role in Sky One's football soap "Dream Team", followed by recurring appearances in the popular medical drama "Holby City" and the children's comedy series "Young Dracula", in which he played a descendant of the legendary Van Helsing. Maynard has also had the opportunity to tread the boards of the West End stage, starring in the hit musical "Chicago". In 2014, he joined the esteemed cast of the long-running ITV soap "Coronation Street", further solidifying his reputation as a talented and versatile actor.
