Biography

Teddy Candela, a French actor of Italian and Spanish descent, was born on May 26, 1990, in Saint-Martin-d'Hères, France, to Corinne and André, local fruit sellers at the farmers' market. His family hails from various regions of Italy and Spain, including Montelepre and Alcamo in Sicily, Corato in Puglia, and Almeria in Andalusia.

Before venturing into the world of acting, Teddy had a strong passion for football and aspired to become a professional player. However, his journey took an unexpected turn when he enrolled in the Grenoble conservatory in 2007 to study acting. As the only student in the class with no prior acting experience, Teddy's bold decision to audition for the conservatory impressed his teacher, who acknowledged his unique quality.
