Ted Travelstead, a multifaceted individual with a profound passion for the performing arts, began his journey in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he spent his early years, constantly relocating to various locations, ultimately settling in Virginia Beach, Virginia, to attend high school and nearby Old Dominion University for his higher education.
During his college tenure, Travelstead discovered the enchanting world of theater, and his fascination with the art form only intensified as he delved deeper into the realm of the performing arts. Following his graduation, he embarked on an internship at a regional theater in New England, which further solidified his dedication to the craft.
Subsequently, Travelstead made the bold move to New York City, where his restless nature led him to explore a diverse array of creative pursuits, including rock bands, sketch groups, comedy writing for books and magazines, and eventually, stand-up comedy. After dedicating two decades to the vibrant city, he relocated to Los Angeles in 2013 to pen the fourth and final season of the critically acclaimed television series "Wilfred."
