Biography

Taylor Negron was born Brad Stephen Negron in Glendale, California, to parents Lucy (Rosario) and Conrad Negron, who served as the mayor of Indian Wells, California, with both his parents boasting Puerto Rican ancestry. Negron pursued his higher education at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),where he delved into the world of acting under the guidance of renowned acting coach Lee Strasberg.

In addition to his acting studies, Negron also attended a private seminar on comedy, which was taught by the legendary Lucille Ball. He went on to join an improvisational comedy group, alongside notable talents such as Robin Williams, Martin Short, and Betty Thomas. In 1982, Negron made his debut in the world of motion pictures, appearing in the roles of a lovestruck, pill-popping, and dancing intern in the film "Young Doctors in Love" and as the visibly disgruntled Mr. Pizza Guy in the iconic film "Fast Times at Ridgemont High." Negron also had the opportunity to play the role of Rodney Dangerfield's son-in-law in the 1983 film "Easy Money."

Throughout his career, Negron was recognized for his exceptional comedic skills, earning the distinction of being asked to teach one of the first comedy courses offered at UCLA. Unfortunately, Negron's life was cut short when he passed away on January 10, 2015, due to complications from cancer.
