Tawanda's life journey began in Zimbabwe, where he spent his formative years, before making the bold decision to relocate to New Zealand at the tender age of 22.
As fate would have it, an innate passion for performance, both on stage and screen, led him to seek out the nearest amateur theatre, where he was promptly cast in the iconic play "The Full Monty". This marked the beginning of a snowball effect that would shape his future endeavors.
Fast forward a couple of years, Tawanda's trajectory took a significant turn when he auditioned for Toi Whaakari- The New Zealand Drama School, and was graciously accepted in 2009.
Upon completing his studies in 2011, he has since been involved in a multitude of theatre and screen productions, showcasing his remarkable talent and versatility.
Beyond his impressive acting credentials, Tawanda is also a gifted musician, proficient in playing the guitar and percussion instruments, further solidifying his multifaceted artistic identity.
