Tara DiPetrillo, a native New Yorker, embarked on her artistic journey at a remarkably young age, discovering a profound passion for drawing and painting. As her creative expression continued to flourish, she decided to pursue a degree in Film at the prestigious School of Visual Arts. However, after a year and a half of studying the art of filmmaking, Tara's innate curiosity and enthusiasm for special effects makeup and prosthetics led her to redirect her academic path, ultimately merging her love of painting and film into a unique and captivating artistic fusion.
Throughout her illustrious career, Tara has had the privilege of collaborating on numerous award-winning projects, including feature films, television shows, commercials, music videos, editorial content, and print work. Her impressive portfolio boasts a diverse range of clients and collaborators, showcasing her exceptional talent and versatility as a special effects makeup and prosthetics artist.
