Biography

Tané McClure is a renowned director, producer, and film editor, boasting over 60-plus Film Festival Awards and 20 nominations, as well as the prestigious LA Press Club - National Journalism Award for "Love Betty White: The Betty White Story".

As a multi-talented professional, McClure has worked on both sides of the camera and microphone, excelling as an actress, producer, writer, director, editor, VFX artist, film sound designer, and professional singer. She has also co-written, directed, produced, and edited her 2024 film "Séance Games - Metaxu", which has garnered numerous Film Festival awards.

Upcoming releases include "Kaitlyn's Chance", a family film written and produced by McClure, slated for release in 2025, as well as several feature films in production, with McClure at the helm as director.

McClure has acted in over 70 films, including notable roles in "Legally Blonde", "Crawlspace", "Cruel Intentions 2", "Shadow Hours", and "Go", as well as co-starring roles on the hit Showtime series "Sherman Oaks" and guest appearances on "Days of Our Lives", "Bay Watch Nights", and more.

As a singer, McClure has released music under the name Tane Cain, with the top 40 single "Holding On", and with her band "Tahnee Cain and Tryanglz", she wrote and performed three songs for the original "Terminator" motion picture soundtrack.

As a producer/director, McClure's winning and nominated productions include the National Journalism Award for the Fox LA News documentary "Love Betty White: The Betty White Story", as well as the Emmy Nominated "Station Fires" for Fox News. She also earned a "Best Fantasy Film" award for her full-length feature film "Trance", which she wrote, produced, and starred in.

McClure's other notable projects include "Big Shots" series with Emmy-winning journalist Giselle Fernandez for Los Angeles Magazine, and the highly acclaimed "Inside Autism", an inspiring educational dramatic film about a boy with Autism. Her recent accomplishments include the award-winning short films "Rockstar" and "Voyager 2150", which have garnered numerous awards and nominations.

Tane McClure is the daughter of actor Doug McClure, best known as "Trampas" from the western series "The Virginian", and began her acting career at an early age, playing the part of an orphan in "The Virginian" episode "Small Parades". She is also the author of a new book, "Rescue Heart: A Love Story", based on her award-winning feature film screenplay.

McClure is a strong believer in being "limitless" and is excited to be developing new and exciting film projects with other like-minded talented producers and professionals.
