Tammi Rogers, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, was born with a passion for the arts. As a young child, she would accompany her mother to stage plays and concerts, developing a love for the performing arts at just three years old. With a natural ability to command attention, she has worn many hats throughout her career, including actor, director, acting coach, producer, script supervisor, props manager, singer, and speaker.
Throughout her 35+ year acting career, Tammi has appeared in numerous local community stage plays and independent films, earning numerous acting awards along the way. In 2018, she became the Resident Acting Coach for The Actors Academy Baltimore, offering classes to actors in the D.C./Maryland/Virginia area.
Tammi made her debut at the renowned Arena Players, Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland, in the stage play Witness for the Prosecution in March 2016. She has shared the stage with and understudied for powerhouse actresses/singers such as Shirley Murdock and D'atra Hicks in Crystal L. Bass' Ain't No Love Like A Mother's Love stage play.
Tammi credits Roosevelt Jackson and Ursula V. Battle for introducing her to the world of acting in cinema and providing her with opportunities to perform in several stage plays. She has also worked with her acting coach, Stephen Mitchell of Cine-Paris Productions, starring in her own one-woman show, The Interloper, and featuring in several films and TV series written by him.
With a humbled heart and spirit, Tammi thanks God for allowing her to draw people to Christ through her work in drama.
