Tamir Moscovici is a renowned filmmaker, but beneath the glamour of his international productions, he is a humble father of two, loving husband, and devoted pet owner to two dogs and two cats. His passion for storytelling began at a tender age, as he watched films like ET, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and the works of the Coen Brothers, which sparked an insatiable thirst for the art form and a desire to be a part of it.
Born into a family of only children, Tamir grew up surrounded by the magic of film, and it was no surprise that he knew from career day in grade 8 that he wanted to pursue a career in the arts, rather than following the traditional path of doctor, lawyer, or accountant.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in film production from Concordia University, Tamir began his career in the camera department, working on a range of projects including the films Blues Brothers 2000, Robocop, and eXistenZ, directed by the acclaimed David Cronenberg.
As his experience and expertise grew, Tamir transitioned to directing, and his attention to detail and industry knowledge quickly made him a standout talent. His passion for old cars, bikes, and anything with a motor led him to a successful career in automotive advertising and filmmaking, and his personal documentary project, Urban Outlaw, redefined the industry standard for automotive storytelling.
Throughout his career, Tamir has been driven by a passion for storytelling and a commitment to cinematic realism. He brings a unique cinematic eye to every project he undertakes, and his dedication to his craft has earned him numerous awards and accolades.
