Ashley Támar, a multifaceted artist, rose to fame as the muse and protégée of the legendary Prince, earning recognition for co-writing the Grammy-nominated duet "Beautiful, Loved, and Blessed".
Ms. Davis has garnered numerous accolades, including a Hollywood Music in Media Award for Best New Song in New Media in 2022, and is currently touring with the Stewart Copeland Orchestra as a featured soloist on the "Police Deranged for Orchestra" album.
In addition to her impressive music career, Ashley has also made a name for herself behind the scenes as a Music Supervisor, Clearance, and Licensing Coordinator for various television and film projects, including "Ladies First: The Women in Hip Hop" (Netflix),"Trap Jazz" (Hulu),"Three Ways" (Hulu),"Cherish the Day" (Season II/OWN),"That Damn Michael Che" (HBO Max),and more.
Ashley has had the privilege of gracing the Walt Disney Hall stage with the LA Philharmonic, guest starring in both "Chippendales" (HULU) and "BRUH" (BET+),and receiving rave reviews for her performances in Broadway classics such as "Ain't Misbehavin'", "Motown the Musical", and "A Night with Janis Joplin", where she was nominated as Best Featured Actress.
Ms. Davis is an alum of the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music and the author of an edutainment book and workbook, "100 Things to Know as an Independent Music Artist". With four independent albums released independently, Ashley has showcased her impressive vocal range and emotional delivery on NBC's "The Voice: Season X" and has been recognized internationally for her powerful ballads and acting in numerous Tyler Perry/LionsGate productions.
Through her music, Ashley has successfully initiated various community outreach projects, including The Syren Arts Academy, the College, Career, and Empowerment Summit, the Támar Talks Podcast and DocFest.
